Our passport to real outdoor independence is a coaching program that focusses on developing the capabilities to participate in outdoor activities safely and independently.
Within the NDIS our coaching supports:
Capacity building
Community participation
Independence in daily life skills
Outdoor learning and confidence
Social, emotional and physical wellbeing
We can work with support coordinators and families.

Weather you focus on mastering one activity or multiple pursuits, the passport is your guide to becoming confident, capable and independent in bushwalking, cycling, kayaking, camping and expeditions. All activities are separately covered in your passport. It includes and might not be limited to planning, packing, logistics, equipment use and care, navigating, self-management, basic first aid/rescuing, resilience, communication, wildlife encounters and no trace practices.

Coaching sessions are charged in accordance with the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits for the supports provided.Transport options

The Expedition You Passport to real outdoor independence is the tool that shows progress, feedback and reflections. When the participant agrees, this can function as a reporting tool. Other ways of reporting can be discussed e.g. online portals like Maslow.

Our service area is Adelaide and the Fleurieu Peninsula. Sessions are held in real outdoor environments including local parks, trails, waterways and camping areas. We often visit the Onkaparinga National Park, Port Noarlonga, Happy Valley Reservoir, Myponga Reservoir, Deep Creek National Park and Victor Harbor and surroundings.

Not necessarily. We can discuss what equipment you already have, what will and can be provided, and what may be needed as your skills progress.

A guided outdoor activity helps you complete today’s trip. My coaching gives you the knowledge, judgement and practical skills to confidently plan, and undertake your own adventures for years to come. My goal is to make myself unnecessary by helping you become truly independent outdoors.

Yes, if your plan supports capacity building, community participation or developing independence. We can work with participants, families and support coordinators to determine suitability.

Our coaching is highly personalized with a maximum of 2 participants per session. This ensures safety, tailored coaching and better progress.

No, Expedition You is your starting point to outdoor independence. Whether you are completely new or already have some experience, coaching is tailored to your current abilities and goals.
