Your passport to real outdoor independence

The passport to real outdoor independence is your personal learning framework. It helps guide your progress, celebrate milestones and prepare you for real outdoor adventure independence.

Collect competencies in bushwalking, cycling, kayaking and camping. Whether your goal is mastering a single activity or becoming confident across multiple outdoor pursuits, your passport reflects your own journey from beginner skills through to expedition-ready capability.

It is a flexible pathway, built around you. As skills are achieved, they are recorded in your passport including space for feedback and personal notes.

The Expedition You enrolment is your entry into a structured pathway towards real outdoor independence. It gives you the tools, guidance and community to outdoor independence and belonging.

I measure success by how little you need me. The goal is to help you develop the confidence and capability to plan and enjoy your own adventures safely and independently.

The Expedition You Passport to real outdoor independence is about developing the confidence to plan, prepare and enjoy your own outdoor experiences safely and independently.

Weather your goal is your first bushwalk, a multiday cycling trip or learning to kayak with confidence, your coaching is built around you.

All coaching is delivered with a maximum of two participants. For even more personalised coaching one-to-one upgrades are available.

We intentionally keep the maximum on two participants per coaching session to guarantee safety, individual attention, tailored learning and faster progression.

Our service area is Adelaide and the Fleurieu Peninsula. Outdoor locations we often visit are the Onkaparinga National Park, Port Noarlonga, Happy Valley Reservoir, Myponga Reservoir, Deep Creek National Park and the surroundings of Victor Harbor.

You choose the level of support that suits your goals. Your commitment and coaching frequency set your pace of progress.

Coaching is available to both private and eligible NDIS participants. Whether you are stepping into the outdoors for the first time or building towards independent expeditions, your journey starts here.

Everyone works with the same Passport to real outdoor independence. The difference is simply how you access it.

Choose for private coaching when you fund your own coaching and development. Go to the NDIS page when you are building independence through funded support.

Have a three-day Kangaroo Island Expedition waiting for you. Your passport to real outdoor independence will give you all the tools to experience a supported meaningful wilderness experience.

For some this expedition is a goal to work towards to, for others it is a celebration of the skills and independence they have achieved.

The expeditions are designed as an extension of your learning journey. The enrolment with Expedition You ensures participants have completed an intake, are working through the Expedition You Passport and are progressing towards the skills and judgment needed for safe participation.

  • Expedition You enrolment is required for all participants.

  • Separate experience to be paid for, quoted at time of booking.

  • Maximum of 2 participants per session at all times, Private Upgrades (1:1) available.

Who We Are.

Expedition You was created to provide a more personalised and supportive approach to outdoor experiences. We believe that nature is a powerful environment for building confidence, independence, wellbeing and connection when delivered with the right level of support.

We intentionally limit our experiences to two participants at the time to ensure personalised guidance, safety and experience quality.

We believe that belonging to an outdoor activity community gives everyone benefits for life. Here we provide a passport driven pathway to grow your own confidence, competencies, wellbeing and become part of a community with likeminded people.

Our service area is Adelaide, the Fleurieu Peninsula and Kangaroo Island.

We have a decade of experience in (guided) outdoor activities, working with people from all different ability levels and ethnic backgrounds.
